Permanently discontinuing a flagship product, distrust from the entire customer base, and more negative publicity than you could dream up in a lifetime is a pretty good start.

The Note brand is destroyed. They will probably never make another Note phone. If they release new phablets with stylus in the future it will be under a different brand name. Samsung can only hope the Note fiasco didn't cause irreparable damage to their Galaxy brand, because that's their real cash cow.
