I guess I should have been more clear, this would be the dealbreaker for me. I could probably deal with an hour and a half commute if I wasn't having to deal with stop and go. Having to completely focus on the car in front of you the entire time is going to make that drive drag by vs just smooth interstate where you can zone out a bit.

I drive both I-12 and I-59 pretty often. 12 is a minefield of brake lights where my knuckles are clinched the whole time. 59 is smooth sailing. I spend about the same time on each during this trip, but the stretch that's on 12 feels like 4 hours and the 59 bit is over before I know it.
