Nope told me they would not fix it unless I paid for it. Told them I was done. No response except asked if I wanted to start a ticket to get it sent off at MY expense. No way. Can get it fixed locally for less than 1/2 their price. I am done with Apple.

Yeah, but they can't properly calibrate it like Apple

Downvote all you like, but Apple stores have special machines that calibrate all screen replacements. I had my 6+ screen replaced, but it failed calibration so they gave me a brand new phone.

Expired is expired. Why should they make an exception for you? You special or something? You damn sure can't keep your phones together.
