Next time you are the elevator alone and it stops at 2 to pick them up, wait until they all load up on the elevator and THEN make your exit. But first take a deep breath like you are trying to take up less space and then "squeeze" thru and between them to exit. Once out, turn back and look at them while you let out the deep breath you took and maybe let out a "whew" like you are relieved to have escaped.

Sometimes you have to make an effort to offend people.
