the bitterness towards this aquarium is amazing to me from locals
always complain about nothing to do, we get something new being put into a building that was just sitting there, rotting away becoming an eyesore, and now we complain about that something new is coming

I'm nearly always skeptical when Gov spends a little money, but after reading a little bit I think this will be a nice addition. The SciPort is pretty cool, plus we won't have to go to that shithole called NOLA to look at a few fish other than the gou and shoepiks in the BassPro tank.

They shut down the dog park a few years ago before the floods. So I don't how that relates. All Shreveport has going for it is casinos, they tried the red light district under the bridge and everything in there failed.
