Bingo. Even my friends from New Orleans acknowledge that. After going to Comus, Rex, Proteus, and the Pickwick Club, and bringing my friends from there to Shreveport for events, they admit Shreveport is the closest thing. That doesn't mean its close, just the closest. Shreveport just isn't as old and big as NOLA.
