The Caps last two games against the Pens were decided by scores of 5-2 and 7-1, both in Washington's favor, yet Milbury was in the postgame talking about the Caps learned they need their best game to beat the Pens. Come on, man. A little credit.
Man, I feel bad for Niklas Backstrom. He pots his 500th assist last weekend on the road, and he comes home to have the team honor him for being the first player in franchise history to reach that milestone. They play a video in his honor, they honor his career, and he responds by scoring 4 points on the night, including 3 assists.
And Ovi scores his 1000th point one minute into the game, scores a power play goal later (both assisted by Backstrom), and takes all of the headlines and the first star of the game. Backstrom can't even get the attention on a night literally designed to honor him.

Habs are going again. I noticed that Danault and Lehkonen now are double digit goal scorers. Montoya played well enough to win last night.
