That's a perplexing job. No one has had sustained success since Ray Eliot in the 1950s. And that's loosely using the term "success". The state of Illinois has high school talent. And is surrounded by states with it.

Mike White took them to the Rose Bowl back in the 80s. But it is understandable why the suck...the facilities suck and Champaign Urbana weather is donkies.
