he had one gimpy ankle but late in auburn game (around the 30-40 yard line) he took a helmet/facemask directly to his good ankle. He left the game and I think came back in for a play. Maybe both ankles are an issue?

Yes, he hurt one ankle before the season started. Tried to play vs. Wisconsin but it was clear he wasn't healthy.

At the end of the Auburn game, he hurt the other ankle. Listed as a contusion. He had swelling that night and following day. It would take a few weeks for that to heal.

He had a high ankle sprain before the season started and those take forever to heal.
