There are rednecks everywhere. Sometimes they go by different names, but they're rednecks, all the same.
People who think the South is the only place where you can find rednecks have literally never spent time in any rural area anywhere. I'm pretty sure there are rednecks in southeastern rural Germany.

I think it's Texas. That whole state, even the urban areas, is rife with rednecks.
