If we sit Fournette until Ole Miss, we're talking about 4 weeks of rest time for that ankle. It might not get him to 100%, but I'm sure it can offer sufficient healing time to get him in playing condition for the final stretch. If you can manage sitting him and winning the Ole Miss game, you're looking at 6 weeks rest for Bama.

Yep. He needs to sit till he's 100% healed and pain-free.

I appreciate him giving his all the first four games, but it was obvious he wasn't 100%.

If he doesn't let it heal, there's a good chance surgery may be in his future, a la Skyler Green in 2004.
