Recruiting sites like Rivals and Scout mean nothing unless you can actually transition the talent to the NFL ranks.

5 star recruits make it to the nfl 49% of the time.
There are 1500 recruits on average each year. Recruiting sites pick about 30 of those to be 5 star athletes. To pick 30 out of 1500 and be right 49% of the time is great. 5 star recruits matter.

The NFL is the best indication of how talented a team is and LSU ranks #1.

No its not. Lsu players on a nfl rosters have no affect what so ever in how talented the current team is.

Also,

BAMA'S LAST 2 CLASSES=15
LSU'S LAST 3 CLASSES=17

You keep bringing up the last two years NFL draft as a primer to how talented we are THIS YEAR. Which is stupid.

We had 18 starters come back this year. Of course we didn't have a bunch of players drafted. Your argument is flawed and stupid. With 18 returning starters and top three round draft talent such as

Fournette
Dupre
Dural
Pocic
Beckwith
White
Adams
Godcheaux

And that's just the ones leaving this year. That's not counting the ones next year who aren't draft eligible.

With 18 returning starters we were definitely the most talented and experienced team in college football. Name me another team with as much talent and experience coming back. There are none.
