Why is this so often brought up when 1997 Florida is discussed? Who fricking cares? The events are separate. Fine, yea, seven days later, we shite the bed.

But goddammit on Saturday, October 11, 1997... we took down the #1 team in the land, the defending National Champions, the nearly unbeatable Steve Spurrier, while breaking UF's 25 game SEC winning streak, and keeping their NINE game win-streak on us from turning to 10!!!

What happened seven days later, on that awful JP 10:30am (or 11:30) k/o, has no bearing on the prior event, Chinaman hats and all. If you were in Tiger Stadium when #1 went down that night, you KNOW what you experienced... a night that is as good as it gets!!
