Picked this up on Amazon. A few nights in and it's worked but while flies were knocked back big time, mosquitoes are still an issue.

My BIL told me tonight he swears by Thermacell when hunting. Anyone use that?

I'm looking for something that will work that won't have me lighting 600 Citronella candles on my patio when we are out there?

I keep 2 Thermacell lanterns on my back patio and they seem to do a good job. They sit on a pole and look good enough.

Won't turkey hunt without one. As well as early season bowhunting and ducks when the temps bring bring Mosquitos back out

Mosquito Barrier works. Apply it three times per year and you will see few to no mosquitos. It is nothing more than garlic juice.

Hands down a thermacell. It's one of the best inventions for hunting I have seen. Really don't know how we survived back in the day.

Make sure you have a little ventilation when you use it. Can get queasy if you burn it indoors or inside a box stand

I forgot my Thermacell yesterday- the mosquitoes nearly carried me away until I sprayed Lemon Eucalyptus Off- that helped, but I'm sure every deer for a mile could smell something fishy.

Same tree today, have the ole Thermacell lit sitting on the lower platform of my climber- no mosquitoes at all.

Thermacells work great but that flowtron should also do wonders if you're using it with the octenol strips. I have that same one and it's made a huge difference in the mosquito population. I have to clean it weekly as it's clogged up with them.
