FWIW, I wore hoodies in high school and I got grabbed by my hood and thrown to the ground by a police officer who was breaking up a party I was at. He then accused me of trying to tell everyone to run and of dealing drugs, which caught a hearty laugh from all my friends. I was a goody-two-shoes in high school. At that point, I didn't even drunk.

I'm white and grew up middle class, btw.
