Is she taking breaks to eat, use the restroom, or just chat with the family? If so, put a stop to all that. It just cuts into their focus and then they have to regain it again, wasting time, on top of the time she wasted during the break.

Have you considered amphetamines to help improve her efficiency? She should start to pull away from the pack in academics, and you may even have a varsity athlete on your hands down the line.
