Why not?? If you motion that FB out or come out with an extra WR it spreads the defense out and PA works better also. It gives the defense a different look also. The linebackers can't just pile up at the LOS. LF needs to make on man miss and he busts it for 6 or 7 yards maybe more. Like I said PA works better also because if that backer bites he has further to run back and leaves whom ever more open.

You don't have to have a FB to run the football. Single back sets work everywhere. You can do both even with the FB in there you can notion that FB and still run or PA from it. If you hit them for 5 to 7 yards at a time they will bite and leave someone wide open. We need to run more all vertical seems down field when not in PA the QB can see who will be open and where especially against zone. It fools the defense also. Lots of missed communication on these routes that go for big big yards.
