It is childish because when you are supposedly from a place where the depth of culinary thought is how to make a hot dog and let's put deep bread on a pizza, these things matter. When you are from a place like Louisiana with a cuisine like Creole and Cajun cooking, a hot dog is something you eat quickly to hold you until you can get to some real food. It really does not matter what anyone wants to put on it.

That is my thought. A hot dog isn't some culinary delicacy. It is a damn piece of processed mixed up meat in a cheap bun. It shouldn't be a big deal.
