It's comical seeing all those houses down around Erath and Delcambre that are raised to the heavens but instead of leaving the area underneath they bring in loads of dirt then top that with a driveway at 30 degrees or something obnoxious.

Hers isn't like that. She had a cement slab poured under the entire house, we installed some nice LED lights, the underside is all trimmed out so you don't see insulation and pipes other than a few pieces of conduit and a friend of my Uncles built her an elevator. There's 2 stair cases and a porch that goes around the entire perimeter. She had a window unit that would cool the house, when she got it raised she had central air put it. It's really nice.
