Why is it that Ed O has grown as a HC since Ole Miss but Kiffin hasn't?

I see this all the time. I know people don't like kiffin but you have to think if anyone has grown as a HC coach, it's the guy who has spent a few years under Saban not the guy whose been under Miles.

kiffin has had 3 stops as a head coach and failed miserably at each one. he had a recruiting class at UT that 2 years later only had 3 guys still on campus. i know he has been touched by Saban so that does give him some superpowers but it's hard to ignore his prior failures.

Because O came in and salvaged the wreck that was USC that season after Kiffin shite the bed. All Kiffin's proven is that he can ride the curtails of greater men to success.

Because Orgeron is currently the head coach of LSU, so people are being hopeful they are right that he's progressed. Kiffin is only a hypothetical, so no need not to properly vet and be more objective about past failures.
