Yeah, i know Tepper was awful and i remember watching the games then but i was really too young to digest what were the specific problems.

Just seemed like Herb Tyler, Faulk, Mealey etc were ballers and that Watts was pretty good.

He's forgotten though and never talked about so i wanted some opinions on how he was.

yup. without a doubt.

You would have enjoyed watching LSU from 84 to 88. The arnsparger and first two archer years before it went to the dark days. those were good teams and very exciting football. hilliard, james, hodson, davis, kinchen, magee, williams, martin, fuller, andolsek, nacho albergamo, etc on offense.

Tepper would drop 7 guys into coverage and the receivers would still be wide open. I have no idea what he was trying to do.
