Again, since no coaching changes board...
Other major schools will be firing their coaches. Our admin needs to get their heads out of their asses and fire Les now so we can get the jump on those schools for Herman and the rest of the top coaches.

It's not hard to figure out what's about to happen here, either: Mass firings. It's partly that money will be lost from programs that expect to be in the College Football Playoff. But also, boosters, who are de facto owners of some of these programs, are going to want to exercise their control. The big money has all the power and can make everyone dance. Expect Miles, Helton and VanGorder to go.

You know you can talk to other coaches and their agents without firing a coach mid season right?

See last year, they will not believe you

You really believe lsu was going to fire les last year?

Yes, but after last year's debacle, a prospective new coach needs to KNOW that we won't reverse at the end of the year after they commit, and then keep Miles again.
Last year's hesitation means they must now pull the trigger early to show they mean it.

I don't see anything happening till after the season. Sorry to tell you.
His buyout goes down after Dec 31 and he is respected enough that he will get to finish out the season.
