This is more of what I am getting at. Is it by design? And if you are going to report on something like the police killing situation, why not highlight the facts and report the numbers.. Instead of painting a picture that the police on shoot a certain race.

No, it probably isn't. News media is more concerned with profit than agenda. There's no supervillain trying to take down the USA with shitty reporting, just lazy assholes giving the public what they want.

Because you will not have a tv station very long if no one is watching. Ain't nobody got time for numbers, show me a car set on fire, or a high speed police chase, or a squirrel water skiing. Don't waste my time with facts and shite. And you better put BREAKING NEWS all over the screen, otherwise, I'm switching the station. I ain't got time for nothing if it isn't BREAKING.
