I'm a huge fan of the band. I haven't heard the album yet, but those lyrics are pretty cringeworthy. I'm not really political, but they just seems so ham-fisted.

that ill buy. ive noticed that i dont dig their actual music and their quality of writing doesnt catch me like it once did.... but the political thoughts themselves dont bug me much.

Same here.

But like I've said here before:

I'm very aware that half the artists I listen to would hate my guts on a personal level. No one hates their fellow American like a Progressive does, that's for sure.

Oh well. I'll just swipe this one for free from someone later, give it a listen and go from there.

I've seen them twice live and they were great. They didn't talk about politics either time. Just played music and told random stories. That I can deal with.
