Although this definitely wasn't my favorite season, it wasn't the worst either.
I REALLY disliked the Millennials but the Gen-Xers weren't much more likable. But Jay and Adam eventually became the two I was rooting for. Even though he was a gamer, never gave up, and had an incredible transformation, due to his complete ineptitude I just couldn't get behind David. Hannah was a GOAT coattail rider through and through. I found myself pulling for Ken at times, and I was surprised that he didn't get at least a couple of votes.
In the end, Adam definitely deserved the win. I think what sealed his win was that he DIDN'T tell everyone about his mom until the final word. He was able to stay off people's radar who would think he had the sympathy vote locked up until the end when he played that last card, and GOT the sympathy vote.
His mom dying an hour after he got home is just crazy. Giving $100,000 to that cancer fund was another of the admirable moves the kid made throughout the show, and proved he was a standup guy. I'm happy for him.
