He wasn't eligible to play last year. There were reports that he injured his back the week before the Wisconsin game. I don't know if he was physically able to play that game. And perhaps the coaching staff felt Harris deserved a chance to redeem himself after the Wisconsin game. LSU only had the ball for one minute or so in the first quarter of the JSU game. Ethling came out for the first possession of the second quarter. Seems to me they didn't wait too long to put him in.
