I did a little reading this morning and it appears that the HRRR shows no skill in forecasting tropical systems. So it is about as useful as the HWRF (seriously though, the HWRF has done much better since the upgrade)

12z HWRF shows 931 to the east of Gainsville and it is hammering things!



ETA: Shows 921 right before landfall
