If this defense can start forcing turnovers you will see massive differences in the team. LSU lost the turnover battle versus State by -3, right? Throw in an onside kick and State basically had a four possession advantage over LSU.

Very true. Definitely a big part of what made the 2011 D truly elite. We haven't seen that kind of turnover margin in a while. I think we'll start to see that change when the DBs and linebackers get more acclimated.

They did get a chance to rest in the first half last weekend. Good thing since they needed it for the second half.
