Have seen some wonderful ballgames in TS since the 1960s. Teams like ND, USC and some fabulous athletes.
No upper decks, no tailgating, no television feeds, precious few day games, the smell of bourbon, stadium lights enveloped in tobacco smoke, a program/bag of peanuts/a pennant, the GBFT, sitting in seats where you knew the people around you.
It was different back then, no better/no worse, just different
