Every brewer attempts to outdo the other. "Let's make the most bitter beer we can." Irony- in the brewing process, an IPA is not as artful a craft as a well balanced lager. It was the swill beer shipped to British workers in India. Throw a bunch of hops in at the end and bitter the shite out of it so it survives the ship.

I insulted the IPA. I've upset the pretentious masses. How dare me. It also runs me wrong because I have a couple of "IPA only" acquaintances that are bammers and like jam bands. Jam bands are also overrated and Buck FAMA
