It's not as easy as "adapt to Pep's strategies"

The tactics change 3 or 4 times per game. Pep will have a center mid drop in between center backs to get space if he needs

The managers in the prem are not dumb. Trying to run an gun with a Pep side won't work just look at SAF in those two finals. Now look at two of the sides that knocked out Bayern. Great defensively, physical and great at shutting down mids in the center of the park while limiting their time on the ball

Space doesn't always have to equal 10 seconds free in the middle of the field.

No shite but thats what he was used to in Germany do to the systems and tactics in place.

You're way overestimating the difficulty of operating in that environment.

As someone who played a Center mid nahhhh.

I can't wait to see what Pep throws out once other managers make the proper adjustments. Jose was able too in the second half last Saturday.

I also played center mid. Neither you or I come close to the skill of Gundogan. You're placing way too much emphasis on conventional space. It can be created multiple times in different ways.

Jose's tactics worked for 5 minutes, Man U got their chance on goal and didn't score. Pep countered and City went back to dominating fairly easily.
