"Nobody ever hopes they are wrong"...you sure about this? Because, under this false premise, it could be impossible for man to acknowledge truth, even if it goes against his best interest. And, even his best interest would be in question, at that point.

Don't be so sure of yourself...you're still only reading the cover of the book and not the actual contents. Forest, trees, etc.
