This doesn't make any sense. Is your budget unlimited? You are talking about a truck as a tool right now, it doesn't always make sense to have the biggest tool on the block just to have it.
It's obviously easier to have more truck than you need, but that doesn't mean it's best. You can pull a lot of trailer with a 1/2 ton gasser and if you are driving most often without pulling that is the vehicle that makes most sense.
