I like PTA a lot but he needs to start making sprawling ensemble pieces again. Punch-Drunk Love, There Will Be Blood and The Master are all fantastic works but they don't hold a candle to Boogie Nights or Magnolia.

Boy, do I ever agree with this.
I love those last two films. LOVE THEM. I hated Punk-Drunk Love. I appreciated TWWB, but didn't enjoy it. I didn't last very long with The Master.
Someone tell me whether or not I should watch Inherent Vice.
