I thought he was excellent. However, I wonder in what ways Jurgen limited him. Not saying goes it was a bad thing, but he kept doing the same move near the box and tried to get a cross off. Sometimes he had a guy open in the middle of the box that he could have passed to without trying for the cross. I wonder if he was told, "You do this thing going well. Stick to that this game and we'll go from there." It could be a way to make the game easier for him, so I'm not criticizing him for it. Just curious if CP just didn't see these passes, or if he was told to stick to the plan.

Eh, I think you are being a bit overcritical. He had a lot of give and go's and his movement is tremendous. He made some crosses but that's literally what most of the top wingers in the world do as well.
Soccer is a sport designed to make you fail. Even the best in the world have poor touches occasionally and don't deliver the perfect pass. On average, CP did the right thing last night.
We can nitpick examples (breakaway steal and he passes behind Morris) but I don't think that's a fair analysis.
