Its been some time since I looked it up (you can go to the SEC stats and find the numbers), but even with : 1) a starting NFL quarterback (Mettenberger); 2) 2 NFL All Pro receivers (Beckham and Landry); 3) an NFL starter left tackle who could have been a 1st round pick; 4) a NFL starter in his rookie year running back (Hill); and a handful of high draft choices, we finished the year ranked 6th in most of the SEC offensive stats. And that is the year that we use as a benchmark for success. We did lead the league (or were in the top 3) for penalties during that period (several years in a row).
