I think the hardest part isn't that we lost. Wisconsin wasn't a bad team. just a team that executed. thoroughly dominated a physically superior team.
I ll never speak ill of miles. he's a class act. but the idea that we have to wade through another season not playing to the talent's potential? that's tough.
our wait til next year has turned til a wait til this year is over THEN next year. now we find ourselves right where we feared we were last year. a good football team with a coach with a great resume' who may have never been great but zero chance of returning to that greatness. I think all would agree that even if we peel off seven wins in a row, we ll all be waiting for the other miles shoe to drop. we re forever snakebit.
the only thing worse than losing is losing hope.

A Les Miles coached team will always play down to its opponent...just do enough to get by...classic underachievers

Hard to disagree with this. We have a team loaded with top 3 talent and a coach (which I agree is a class act) despite his record puts out a product that looks like the most unprepared team in college football. Just really embarrassing.
Our Superior talent has won through the years despite the coach. This can't continue. Eventually the talent level will fall off because recruits will see the holes in Miles. He can't charm them forever.
I miss the days of a coach that was not such a class act but could actually come up with a good game plan, coach and prepare a team.
Its time to move on.

calling him shitty does a disservice to the titles he's won. and more importantly, to your own argument
call him mediocre. call him over the hill. call him the soon to be ex coach of LSU.
but it's a hard argument to make that he's shitty.
