Are you holding your breath while waiting for the blood to be drawn? You may not realize you're doing this, but that was my problem. I now always lay down and focus on my breathing while they take it - never had the problem again. FWIW I used to faint every time, including one time with convulsions like you mentioned.

Well I was in the middle of talking to the nurse about someone we both knew, then I mentioned it's starting to hit me. I remember her saying really??? And then all of a sudden there is nurses and a doctor standing around me. I told her I get woozy after 4-5 vials, guess it surprised her after me flailing like a fish after only 2. So I wouldn't have been holding my breathe since I was talking. And nurses story was just like I remembered right before I blacked out.
