More than most? escaping baton rouge twice against an inferior team, escaping Tenn against an inferior team, having a split title, and getting a rematch for another.

I think you might be missing the point here. LSU would have taken any of those three players, but they didn't want to come and LSU fans threw a fit. Point bein', even in the contest between man and steer the issue is not certain.

Or it is great leadership from the Head Coach on down and CLM gets most players to keep their heads about them and out of trouble.
I realize LSU doesn't have a perfect record in player behavior, but it is damn strong.
