It doesn't really bother me about the guys going to Canada on guided hunts. I understand it skews the point totals, and if there was actual prizes at stake it might be a different story.
I just enjoy seeing peoples hunts from different parts of the country, and as someone alluded to earlier, it makes me feel better when I realize others are struggling to scratch out birds too, haha. I basically only hunt public land and then a few times a year on my friends leases.
As far as the guided hunts go, I see no real distinction between going on a guided hunt, and one of my friends calling me and telling me to come to his lease because they have scouted and have a bunch of birds.
But this is just one man's opinion, and regardless of the rules or format, I'll participate again and try to scratch out my 20 to 30 birds haha
