Cities and areas like Denham, Gonzales, Dutchtown, Walker, Watson and St. Amant serve a vital need.

They offer safe, close knit communities with good schools where middle class families can afford to live. BR Metro and its institutions and area businesses depends on these places for workers.

Hopefully the areas slammed by the flood can bounce back. without them BR Metro is going to suffer.
