We told you Grimes is not a good coach. Great resource recruiter, awful teacher and evaluator. Same thing applies to Craig.
Same can be said for Kevin Steele. I give Craig an open slate. Grimes can certainly recruit. OL was fine up until Bama, BH's injury, we starting to run into brick walls and our D came unglued. Grimes unit was a mixed bag of results last year. We will see this year.

Our offense last year as I saw it...
Run 7 - a great plan against most teams
Throw deep -all world WR & hold the safeties
Throw on obvious passing downs
Attempt short to intermediate routes -rarely
Throw to the TE - very rarely
Basically, we beat who we could run on, and even struggled in the games for 3 quarters.
The teams we couldn't run on just pinned their ears back and sold out on the run en route to BH. A short to intermediate passing game that incorporates the TE would have helped out our Oline imo. Asking them to be effective under those circumstances is a lot. LF7 is amazing, but even he has limits. In my mind BH is the key. An improved defense and LF7 puts us in the mix. Better play from BH in the short to intermediate passing game OR letting BH actually be a dual threat QB gives us a real chance at some trophies. Just my thoughts.

None of us wanted Steele. Our HC has no connections in CFB so we got stuck with him. It makes me sick to my stomach thinking about out hick moron AD paying a buyout to hire Steele.
