Most people here aren't racist. Most people here who live in Southern cities live around a lot of black people. They see the violence every single night on the local news.

Every single night it's black people killing other black people on the news.

So when the media is trying to act like there isn't a problem in the black community with crime and murder, it's insulting to our intelligence. We don't appreciate being lied to and them trying to brainwash people.

It feels like you're living in a bizarro world when the problems play out right in front of you and you are being lied to by the national media.

I imagine it's how people in communist countries feel when the propaganda arm of the government lies to them every night on the "news".
