Dedicated taxes are a scam that misleads a gullible public. I fell for it for years in Louisiana until I saw that they just gave less funds generally to the dedicated cause, so the money did not add to the program at issue.
If the lottery money is dedicated to education, watch non-dedicated funding of education go elsewhere.
My dad had this figured out from the beginning. I should have trusted him.
