LSU has had some good FBs the last 20 years and most were bigger than JD. He perhaps is the most technically sound blocker I have seen since at least Victor Jones.

You do realize that John David Moore is 6'4 241 right?
By bigger do you mean in height or weight?

JC copeland was bigger.
Height isnt usually a good thing for a fb.

Quinn Johnson is the best I've seen at the FB position, as far as putting himself in a position to make a block and then making it (by any means necessary), but I see that potential in Moore as well.

Yes Quinn was very good.

Heavier and bigger always don't mean the same thing. JD is 6'4 and around 250. That's a big FB. Yes Copeland was 6'1 270. You right height not always a good thing for a FB but Moore has no issues because he stays low then he can use his height to drive the defender upwards.

The thing that stands out to me is that he sets up his blocks and seals off the lane.
Isn't he a walk on?

No its not. We have running backs that are 230-235 lbs.
Its not small but i wouldnt consider 240 a big fb.
