I can tell you it is talked about inside the LSU program as well. Coaches and players have noticed the trend dont think its coincidence. I know Ill get downvoted for this so downvote away.

LSU puts out more players than all but two schools, we've drafted one in ten years. It's no one's fault. BB like Rutgers players, and no one bats an eye but when anyone insinuates CSP doesn't like LSU prospects everyone goes crazy

The Cardinals have built a top 2 defense in the league with a core of LSU players but, we're crazy for thinking a pro team right down the road should take advantage of being so close to a factory like LSU

If we were on the clock and had to choose between Leonard Fournette and a kicker, we'd pick the kicker. Vonn Bell recently said he wanted to play like Tyrann Mathieu, and CSP is probably watching him like a hawk for so that he could attribute any error in Bell's play to aspiring to be like that kid from LSU

Not saying that I wouldn't have made the same move the Saints did (I think drafting an OT that high to play OG is a terrible decision), but it makes us/Peat look worse.

FWIW, I hated the Peat pick when it happened and still do, but he has time to turn it around. The Saints sticking him at one position will pretty much automatically help.

I understood it just fine

And avoiding talented players due to their school is the exact same thing as preferring a school for their system. K

Cards also aren't a top 2 defenses btw.

I've got $5k that says the Saints win over 5 games. How do you want to do this?

Evidently not

Why wouldn't they be?

3rd in defensive efficiency
7th in ppg
5th in ypg
4th in takeaways

You always miss the forests for the trees

Are they a top 2 defense in the strictest sense? No, but they are an elite defensive unit with LSU players at their core

How so?

So they aren't a top 2 defense?

Got it

Why wouldn't they be?

Why wouldn't teams intentionally pass up talented prospects just because of where they went to school?

Do you really need that answered for you?

Am I supposed to know who you are?

Why argue over whether Arizona is a "Top 2" offense. They're obviously top tier. They might finish 5 or 6, but there's no defense significantly better than they are, especially after the Chanandler Jones trade.

Well we're talking about defense.

And the issue is that for some reason he needs to support his argument with exaggerations instead of just letting them stand on its own.

Did I miss the Saints passing on Patrick Peterson?

Or did I miss TM7, who's my favorite player in the NFL and at LSU, say how he needed to leave New Orleans? They're not relevant to this discussion. Everyone, including Payton, knows LSU puts out talent.

My bad. Understood situation, misspoke.

It's barely an exaggeration, though. I don't see the point in freaking out about it.

I added more above, and it wasn't his only exaggeration.

Don't see where I freaked out about it:

-for reference

But more importantly, we've now distracted from Tzimmes bet

Glad to see I have made such an impression on you. When have I pissed you off in the past?

Says the one who thought I didn't know you were exaggerating and reacted to a joke post like a bitch. Glad I've got real estate though.

I get it. Your argument is too weak to stand by itself, so you have to exaggerate to bolster it. I've already addressed the silliness of using the cardinals. Their core players, TM7 and PP7, weren't realistic options for the Saints. Ironically, the LSU player the Saints traded up for was a defensive player

Hopefully one day I be as smart as yousa. Night.
