Payton is often good for a colorful quote, but he's actually one of the league's least-reliable coaches when it comes to actions matching words. Thomas is certainly worthy of hype, but will be battling for targets in an offense crowded with talented pass catchers. He's closer to being a WR5 than WR3.

He's speaking in terms of fantasy right? Clearly he's not battling for the 5th wr spot on this team.
