For how many people?
My family is on a very fixed income and their combined income is def less than 40k. My dad said that before the flood they applied for regular food stamps and were denied because their income level was too high.

Denied DSNAP. They will not be able to begin to even rebuild for at least a year.
So who the frick is all this assistance supposed to help? The legal poor already get assistance. The elderly poor can't get shite.
