Interesting replies so far. Seems that of the things I can control, concealment and being still are the most important things.
I find it funny that no one mentioned decoy placement or calling when those are the two things most heavily marketed to hunters and probably the two things the most money is spent on (outside of land obviously).
Things like feed and weather aren't within my control usually as my hunting opportunities tend to be dictated by available time on the weekend and available public land.
