Nice job of cherry picking highlight reels. I think everyone will agree that Beckwith is a much better linebacker than Welter was, but there was a ton of plays that season that Beckwith got burned as well because of being lined up in the wrong position, or by just being flat out beat.

It took Beckwith some time to get himself adjusted to playing the middle linebacker position properly. It wasn't just Welter being outplayed that season.

Hey I love Welter for being a Tiger, but he sucked compared to Beckwith even if Beckwith was running the wrong way. You don't really have to cherry pick the highlights.
